  • Determine when patient or practice feedback is necessary to support a product decision and select the research method best suited to the question, including usability testing, interviews, focus groups, surveys, or other feedback channels.
  • Work closely with design to define and deliver intuitive, accessible, and consistent patient experiences.
  • Connect patient-facing product functionality to the strategic objectives of the Patients team, the broader product organization, and PracticeTek.
  • Define measurable goals for each initiative, own commitments from planning through post-launch analysis, and proactively communicate when commitments are at risk.
  • Help define and communicate a clear vision for the patient product experience.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap of features and initiatives that advances that vision.
  • Develop a strong understanding of PracticeTek’s strategic direction and identify how the Patients product portfolio can meaningfully contribute to it.
  • Support market research, conduct competitive analysis of relevant patient products and features, and translate strategic insights into recommendations.
  • Proactively identify the stakeholders affected by current patient initiatives and planned follow-on work.
  • Build alignment across product, engineering, design, customer-facing teams, business leaders, and other partners.
  • Provide day-to-day product leadership for the development squad by establishing clear goals, creating shared context, supporting effective decision-making, and helping the team move work to completion.
  • Communicate product status, progress, decisions, risks, and outcomes clearly to your manager and senior leaders.
