In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment with exposure to key partners across the company, including Gemini, Search, YouTube, Wallet, Chrome, Pixel, Android, and Identity. As a Product Manager, you will design and implement solutions for Google’s and Android’s compliance, on-boarding, and life-cycle needs. You will balance reacting to global regulations with building the infrastructure that allows Google to adapt as technology and services evolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from initial concept to market launch.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a technology or business-related field.
  • 4 years of experience in product management, leading high-impact projects.
  • Experience with global regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, COPPA, DPDPA) or building compliance, privacy, or identity products.
  • Experience building modular platform products or scalable infrastructure that serves multiple internal customers.
  • Experience using data to drive product decisions and measure success.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority, resolving conflicts and building consensus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product idea for Kids and Families on-boarding, life-cycle, and compliance initiatives.
  • Orchestrate projects across engineering, UX, legal, policy, and product teams to launch solutions on tight regulatory timelines.
  • Architect and deliver scalable, reusable frameworks that enable Google services to meet future on-boarding and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate regulatory and technical concepts to executive leadership and cross-product area partners to align priorities.
  • Provide clear direction and execution plans within a shifting global regulatory landscape.
