Product Manager, Incentives

About The Position

Augeo is hiring a Product Manager to own the Incentives domain within THEO, its orchestration and intelligence layer for reward, recognition, incentive, and advocacy programs. THEO enables clients to configure incentive programs, evaluate participant performance, identify earned outcomes, and orchestrate rewards and payouts at scale. The Product Manager will lead the Incentives pod alongside an Incentives AI Architect and partner closely with the Intelligence/ML team. The role spans Augeo’s business units, identifying shared requirements and defining the boundary between capabilities owned by THEO and those built by individual business units. The Product Manager will own the Incentives product vision, strategy, and roadmap from discovery through delivery and measurement. Success is measured by incremental engagement per reward dollar: increasing the behavior clients pay for while lowering cost per action. The role combines product management, data and AI/ML collaboration, incentive economics, experimentation, and stakeholder partnership to deliver scalable products that meet enterprise privacy, consent, and data governance requirements.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of product management experience, including owning features from definition through launch and iteration.
  • Product management fundamentals, including writing clear requirements, prioritizing a backlog against limited engineering capacity, running discovery, and defining success metrics before building.
  • Experience working on data- or ML-driven products, such as ranking, recommendations, personalization, or pricing, and comfort with a fast build-measure-learn cycle and frequent experimentation.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and willingness to deepen that knowledge; ability to work with data scientists and engineers on model evaluation, prompting, and system design without being an ML engineer.
  • Analytical rigor, including comfort defining metrics, investigating data, and making evidence-based prioritization decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience contributing to a generative AI or LLM-based feature in production.
  • Experience with loyalty, rewards, incentive, or engagement platforms.
  • Exposure to experimentation and personalization methods such as A/B or holdout testing, uplift modeling, or recommendation systems.
  • Familiarity with incentive and reward program economics, such as points liability, breakage, or redemption modeling.
  • Hands-on use of AI-powered development and prototyping tools, such as Claude Code, to accelerate product discovery and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Incentives domain from problem discovery through shipped and measured outcomes.
  • Work with the Intelligence and ML team to define how models select, personalize, and sequence incentives to maximize engagement and client and partner program ROI.
  • Partner with data science and engineering to specify the incentive decisioning engine, including its inputs, model evaluation criteria, and production quality bars.
  • Translate incentive economics—including budgets, redemption rates, breakage, and partner cost structures—into product requirements that balance member value with program sustainability.
  • Design and prioritize the incentive catalog and configuration experience so clients and partners can launch and manage programs with minimal manual overhead.
  • Build an experimentation practice using holdout tests and uplift modeling to measure causal impact, prove which incentive strategies change behavior, and discontinue ineffective strategies.
  • Evaluate opportunities to use generative AI and agentic workflows to automate incentive content generation, catalog curation, or program configuration, and deliver the highest-leverage opportunities first.
  • Turn client, partner, and internal stakeholder needs into precise, prioritized requirements with clear success metrics.
  • Ensure incentive products meet privacy, consent, and data governance requirements across enterprise client environments.
  • Represent the Incentives pod in cross-team planning and communicate tradeoffs, risks, and progress to engineering, design, and commercial leadership.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with additional virtual and in-person care perks through third-party vendors in select locations.
  • Paid long-term disability and life insurance.
  • HSA/FSA plans.
  • Voluntary benefits, including critical illness, hospital, and pet coverage.
  • Employee benefit education, campaigns, and wellness opportunities.
  • 401(k) retirement matching and financial planning resources.
  • Education reimbursement.
  • Several EAP resources.
  • 13 paid holidays and PTO time.
  • Rewards, incentives, and gamification for birthdays, work anniversaries, professional and personal milestones, company involvement, and kudos.
  • Employee referral bonuses.
  • Employee group opportunities.
  • Fun, casual, and flexible working environment that embraces a hybrid workstyle.
  • Career growth opportunities.
