About The Position

The Product Manager I develops and implements product-line strategies aligned with overall business goals to grow the business profitably. The role serves as a subject matter expert for select product applications and coordinates projects and initiatives across sales, product development, operations, sourcing, and quality. It manages product life cycles and strategic roadmaps, supports product development and go-to-market activities, and provides ongoing sales and marketing support. The position involves approximately 20% travel and is performed in person or remotely in accordance with the company’s Hybrid & Remote Workplace Policy.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in product management, marketing, and/or business strategy development.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving in a highly complex environment.
• Demonstrated success developing product strategies and roadmaps.
• Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong writing, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Computer proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Engineering, or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

• MBA or master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical expertise in product categories and serve as a subject matter expert for internal and external customers.
• Conduct market research with end users and distribution partners to identify product challenges and opportunities.
• Analyze financial, technological, and regulatory trends affecting customer and end-user needs.
• Define strategic outlooks and objectives for product categories and manage their overall health.
• Implement product-category roadmaps through new product introductions, line extensions, and product maintenance.
• Manage product life cycles from ideation and research through obsolescence.
• Execute product development projects through a stage-gate process, conduct voice-of-customer interviews, and incorporate end-user requirements into development.
• Support go-to-market strategies for new and existing products across markets.
• Coordinate with Brand and Channel teams on marketing communications and product value propositions.
• Work with the pricing team to establish and refine standard pricing based on existing models, annual volume, and margin guidelines.
• Provide sales support through sales training, customer service support, and development of marketing and training materials.
• Identify and recommend new markets and work with commercial and marketing teams to develop market-entry plans.
• Travel approximately 20% of the time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
