•$130,000 - $155,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Arlo is seeking a Product Line Manager to support product management and execution of strategic service-provider and technology-partner solutions across SaaS, cloud services, connected devices, and hardware launches. The role supports day-to-day management of partner roadmaps and initiatives, coordinating requirements, releases, certifications, launches, partner communications, and escalations across multiple partner accounts. The successful candidate will work with account teams to understand partner and business needs, translate them into clear product requirements, and coordinate delivery with internal product and engineering teams. The position covers partner roadmap and SaaS product management, API and platform requirements, partner portals and enablement, hardware NPI and launch support, certification and integration activities, partner communications, and escalation and portfolio coordination. The Product Line Manager will work with internal cross-functional teams and external partner stakeholders, support multiple concurrent workstreams, and improve partner processes, documentation, reporting, and operating cadence. This is a hybrid role requiring work from the Arlo office two days per week, with the remaining schedule available for remote work in accordance with company policy. Occasional meetings or working hours outside standard local business hours may be required because partners operate across regions and time zones. Some travel may be required for partner meetings, technical workshops, product reviews, manufacturing engagements, and industry events.

Requirements

  • Approximately five years of experience in product management, technical partnerships, solutions architecture, or a related field.
  • Product management experience in SaaS, cloud services, APIs, connected devices, or a related technology environment.
  • Experience gathering business or customer requirements and translating them into product requirements, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional product releases, integrations, certifications, or launches.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, including working with engineering, QA, operations, product, account teams, and external partners.
  • Familiarity with APIs, cloud integrations, platform architecture, technical requirements, and software release processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, timelines, action items, and stakeholders with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and escalate appropriately rather than independently making decisions on partner strategy or product direction.
  • Strong written communication skills and experience creating status updates, documentation, presentations, and product trackers.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering is preferred; candidates with a business or related degree may be considered based on equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Software product management background; hardware product management or hardware launch experience is valuable but not the primary focus.
  • Experience supporting enterprise, service-provider, telecommunications, security, IoT, or other B2B2C customers.
  • Experience building or managing a partner portal, developer portal, API portal, developer experience platform, or related self-service integration capability.
  • Experience with API documentation, developer onboarding, SDKs, sample applications, testing tools, partner certification workflows, or partner enablement.
  • Experience leading technical discussions with external partners.
  • Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, API gateways, device-management platforms, or event-driven integrations.
  • Experience supporting hardware NPI, device certification, manufacturing, product launches, or go-to-market readiness.
  • Experience with hardware customization, SKU management, packaging development, supply-chain processes, pricing coordination, or manufacturing.
  • Experience in smart home, home security, consumer electronics, IoT, telecommunications, broadband, managed Wi-Fi, or service-provider partnerships.
  • Experience supporting partner discovery, technical due diligence, business development, or joint roadmap planning.
  • Familiarity with privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory, compliance, localization, or certification requirements for connected products.
  • Willingness to learn hardware customization and SKU management and work closely with subject-matter experts.

Responsibilities

  • Support product roadmap execution across assigned strategic partners.
  • Work with account teams to understand business requirements, partner commitments, customer needs, and commercial priorities.
  • Translate business and partner requirements into actionable product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
  • Track partner requirements, feature requests, joint roadmap items, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
  • Manage SaaS and cloud feature product activities, including requirements intake, scoping, prioritization, release coordination, release notes, and partner communication.
  • Coordinate work with product management, engineering, cloud infrastructure, QA, security, support, and operations teams.
  • Communicate release status, timelines, risks, and changes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support partner interactions such as roadmap and business reviews, certification cycles, launch-readiness reviews, and product updates.
  • Help define and maintain API strategy, API requirements and documentation, platform architecture inputs, and partner integration standards.
  • Support development or enhancement of partner, developer, and API portals, documentation, onboarding materials, testing resources, and enablement tools.
  • Support hardware NPI and product launch requirements with engineering, manufacturing, QA, regulatory, compliance, supply chain, and marketing teams.
  • Translate partner and account-team needs into requirements for customized hardware and accessories.
  • Track certification milestones, integration testing, launch readiness, go-to-market requirements, and partner sign-off activities.
  • Support partner-specific hardware and accessory requirements, including configuration, on-device branding, packaging, labeling, in-box materials, and regionalization.
  • Coordinate SKU and pricing-related requirements with internal teams and partners.
  • Manage launch and certification risks, dependencies, and readiness gaps.
  • Lead or support partner-facing requirements discussions, technical conversations, roadmap reviews, and launch-planning meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain status decks, roadmap trackers, action-item logs, meeting notes, release updates, and other partner communication materials.
  • Coordinate internal follow-up and ensure commitments are documented and progressing.
  • Build working relationships with partner product, engineering, operations, support, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Business Development on scouting and evaluating new partners, including technical discovery and integration-feasibility discussions.
  • Triage partner escalations, field issues, feature requests, and delivery concerns; route issues to the appropriate teams and escalate material risks and decisions appropriately.
  • Maintain product documentation and visibility so partner coverage does not depend on a single individual.
  • Support multiple concurrent product workstreams across partners and contribute to consistent execution, response times, follow-through, and process improvement.

Benefits

  • The total compensation package may include a bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits; details will be provided if an employee receives an offer.
