About The Position

The North America Product Line Manager – Data Center Assembly is responsible for supporting the execution of global product strategy, roadmap, and commercial success of Gates’ data center assembly portfolio, including hose assemblies, fluid conveyance systems, and liquid cooling solutions. This role partners closely with senior product leadership to drive growth, optimize portfolio performance, and align customer needs with engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or commercial roles.
  • Experience supporting product lines or portfolios within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a global organization.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in data center infrastructure, liquid cooling, or thermal management products.
  • Knowledge of fluid systems, hose assemblies, couplings, or industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Experience supporting B2B or industrial product portfolios.
  • Exposure to global product launches and commercialization efforts.
  • Lean or process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of global product line strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management.
  • Drive product line performance through pricing support, margin improvement initiatives, and regional execution.
  • Contribute to new product development (NPI) initiatives for data center assembly solutions including liquid cooling systems, hose assemblies, couplings, and CDUs.
  • Translate voice of customer and market insights into product improvements and roadmap inputs.
  • Support global commercialization efforts and product launches across regions.
  • Partner with engineering and operations to ensure alignment between product design, manufacturability, and cost targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, quality, and supply chain to deliver customer solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and portfolio performance to inform decision-making.
  • Support development of business cases for new products and enhancements.
  • Help align global and regional stakeholders to ensure execution of product line priorities.
