Product Intern
About The Position
Join Axos Bank’s immersive 12-week Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment. Alongside day-to-day duties, interns participate in a capstone project, sessions with business leaders, financial literacy training courses, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day. Interns choose between two sessions: May 25–August 13 or June 14–September 3. The Product Management Internship provides hands-on experience supporting the product development lifecycle from concept to launch. The intern works closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to learn how products are researched, designed, and delivered. Supporting the Invest product team, the intern helps document requirements, analyze product and technical issues, support UAT testing, and improve product documentation and tracking. The intern should be comfortable reviewing API documentation, understanding API endpoints and available data, and connecting backend capabilities to the resulting customer experience and product requirements.

Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering market data, identifying trends, and analyzing competitor offerings to inform product decisions.
- Help maintain product documentation, update timelines, and track progress on roadmap initiatives.
- Support communication between product, IT, and design teams to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.
- Collect and organize product performance metrics and assist in preparing reports for leadership review.
- Help create user guides, training materials, and process documentation for new product features or system upgrades.
- Help document requirements, analyze product and technical issues, support UAT testing, and improve product documentation and tracking.
