About The Position

Dorman’s GROW strategic business unit is seeking an enthusiastic learner to support its product team with business projects that validate and support product initiatives. The internship is based in Colmar, Pennsylvania, with a schedule of four days in the office and one virtual day per week. It begins in late May 2027 and lasts 10 weeks. The intern will gain exposure to product management, market opportunity assessment, customer needs, cross-functional decision-making, product development and launches, project management, data analysis, problem-solving, and business communication.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and resourceful, with the ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
• Able to develop relationships, initiate communication, and take action to resolve issues internally and externally.
• Able to lift 20 pounds.
• Regularly able to reach, swivel, carry items between buildings, speak, and actively listen.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably a third-year student.
• Automotive interest is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the GROW SBU team with special projects, which will be identified closer to the start date based on business needs.
• Identify return on investment and process improvements, and work cross-functionally with Engineering and Supply Chain teams.
• Assist the product team in understanding the competitive landscape and market trends.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to help transition products from development into production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
