About The Position

Dorman is hiring a Product Intern for a 10-week summer internship with its Reman Business Unit (ELE-SBU). The internship is based in Colmar, Pennsylvania, and follows a hybrid schedule of four days in the office and one virtual day per week. It is scheduled to begin in late May 2027. The intern will support the ELE SBU team on special projects, which will be identified closer to the start date based on business needs. Work may involve identifying return on investment and process improvements, collaborating with Engineering and Supply Chain teams, and managing multiple projects as products transition from development into production. The internship offers experience researching the automotive aftermarket and vehicle and failure-rate data to identify potential products; building business cases by sizing demand and evaluating cost and pricing; and working with engineering and sourcing to move products from concept to launch. The intern will also gain experience tracking sales performance, inventory health, and competitive positioning to inform product portfolio decisions.
