Product Intern
About The Position
The Product Management Internship is part of Axos Bank’s 12-week Summer Internship Program. Interns gain hands-on experience supporting the product development lifecycle from concept to launch in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment. The intern supports the Invest product team by documenting requirements, analyzing product and technical issues, supporting UAT testing, and improving product documentation and tracking. The role involves reviewing API documentation, understanding API endpoints and available data, and relating backend capabilities to customer experience and product requirements. The program also includes a capstone project, sessions with business leaders, financial literacy training, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day. Interns choose one of two sessions: May 25–August 13 or June 14–September 3.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering market data, identifying trends, and analyzing competitor offerings to inform product decisions.
- Help maintain product documentation, update timelines, and track progress on roadmap initiatives.
- Support communication between product, IT, and design teams to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.
- Collect and organize product performance metrics and assist in preparing reports for leadership review.
- Help create user guides, training materials, and process documentation for new product features or system upgrades.
- Help document requirements, analyze product and technical issues, support UAT testing, and improve product documentation and tracking.
