About The Position

Clarius is developing CLAIR, a B2B SaaS platform for complex and highly regulated business processes. This platform handles extensive workflows, data, and technical requirements with modern, AI-native product development. The development team actively uses AI agents and agentic development workflows, which also transforms the role of Product Design. Design is not limited to a Figma screen, and Development doesn't start only at the handoff. We are seeking a Product Designer / Design Engineer who can translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences and bridge the gap between Product Design, Design System, and Frontend.

Requirements

Several years of experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or Design Engineering, ideally for complex B2B SaaS or enterprise products
Experience with complex user flows, information architectures, interaction concepts, and data-intensive interfaces
Very good understanding of component-based product design, design systems, design tokens, and component libraries
Experience at the interface between design and development, ideally with Storybook, HTML/CSS, and basic React knowledge
Experience with AI-supported development processes, software factories, agentic development harnesses, and structured workflows and agent instructions
Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences and to implement design requirements technically or agentically
Independent, structured, and pragmatic way of working, high quality standards, and openness to rapid iterations and new design, development, and AI tools
Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken

Experience with shadcn/ui, React/Next.js, Legal & Finance, multi-tenant applications, RBAC, i18n, and Accessibility

Responsibilities

End-to-End Product Design
Development of information architectures and user flows
Creation, exploration, and validation of UX and UI concepts
Design of complex B2B SaaS workflows, forms, tables, dashboards, and configuration interfaces
Prototyping and rapid validation of different solution approaches
Supervision and review of technical implementation
Further development of existing interfaces and interaction patterns
Component-based UI design in close collaboration with Frontend Development
Connection of design tools with frontend components for direct technical implementation of design decisions
Development and maintenance of design tokens and reusable patterns
Conception and implementation of components, variants, states, and interactions
Further development and documentation of the Component Library
Transfer of designs into production-ready components and interfaces
Setup and further development of AI-supported, agentic product development processes
Linking of requirements, UX design, prototyping, components, and technical implementation
Development and optimization of end-to-end workflows from requirement and UX through prototype and component mapping to Storybook, implementation, and design review
Use of AI beyond individual mockups and code snippets to support the entire product development process
Joint development and maintenance of components and variants with Development
Definition and further development of design patterns and interaction principles
Creation and maintenance of design tokens for typography, colors, and spacing
Definition of states, behavioral rules, and guidelines for the use of components
Linking of design and frontend components
Ensuring a common and consistent foundation for product, design system, and code
