About The Position

Geotab is seeking a Product Delivery Management Intern to assist the Product Delivery team with a wide range of tasks to accelerate productivity and support hardware product lifecycle management. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to maintain progress with little supervision. The successful candidate will have strong time management and communication skills, with a keen interest in learning how product delivery timelines and change control processes directly impact the end-customer experience. This is a 12-month, full-time, paid internship beginning in September 2026.

Requirements

  • Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Basic familiarity with hardware product concepts, change control, and configuration management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining individual progress.
  • A fundamental grasp of information interpretation and a desire to develop decision-making skills in a technical environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of G Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) is preferred.
  • Prior experience in project management, change control, or configuration management is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Product Delivery Managers in driving initiatives through the NPI process, learning to coordinate deliverables, timelines, and milestone documentation.
  • Support change control activities, including the evaluation and implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Requests (ECR), and Notices (ECN) under guidance.
  • Participate in configuration verification and validation activities to ensure products conform to established baselines and requirements.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales to fulfill assigned tasks and support broader product delivery goals.
  • Articulate ideas clearly in written and verbal formats, maintaining detailed meeting minutes and ensuring diligent follow-up on action items.
  • Apply critical thinking to analyze data related to product configurations and timelines, helping to identify potential delivery risks.
