About The Position

Geotab is seeking a Product Marketing Intern to support go-to-market strategies, assist with product messaging and positioning, and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, enjoys storytelling through data, and is eager to work in the connected transportation industry. The internship is a 12-month work-term beginning September 2026, full-time, paid, and includes a comprehensive one-week Employee Orientation called 'GEO Launch'.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Interest in technology, IoT, SaaS, and/or the mobility space.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Strong organization and project management abilities.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative, team-first attitude.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Workspace.
  • Ability to distill complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Solid research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize market insights into actionable ideas.
  • Basic understanding of product marketing principles, customer personas, and competitive positioning.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.

  • Prior experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies.
  • Craft product messaging.
  • Assist with competitive and market research.
  • Contribute to product launch initiatives.
  • Create enablement materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sales, and external vendors or partners.
  • Assist in developing product messaging and positioning that resonates with key customer segments.
  • Support product and feature launches by helping create internal and external enablement materials.
  • Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
  • Help write and edit content such as product one-pagers, pitch decks, blog posts, and web copy.
  • Help with project management, making sure deliverables are on track and notes/docs are up to date.
  • Assist with tracking content and collateral creation, submitting and managing upkeep of the ticketing process.
  • Support content management and the systems we use to organize and distribute internal content.
  • Maintain product marketing launch/release calendar.
