Product Consultant
About The Position
The Product Consultant advances the Kohler brand by helping Kohler Design Center visitors realize their kitchen and bath aspirations and influencing Kohler sales across all businesses. The role provides product information and customer support, develops product specifications based on customer needs, and presents specifications within 24 hours of a customer visit. It also involves sharing design information, referring customers to Kohler Design Services when they need professional design work, and resolving customer concerns with Kohler Customer Care resources where applicable. The Product Consultant shares Kohler Co. knowledge through tours for individual customers and small groups, supports tour guides, and answers customer questions after tours. The role also supports Kohler Warehouse Sale events by receiving and merchandising products and providing customer service as assigned by the Kohler Design Center Manager. This is an onsite position in Kohler, Wisconsin, with weekend availability required.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Flexible work availability, including weekends.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice To Haves
- Four-year college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in home project sales, kitchen and bath products, and/or home products preferred.
- Interest or experience in interior design recommended.
- Prior Kohler product knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences to Kohler Design Center visitors and customers.
- Provide customers with in-depth Kohler product knowledge.
- Develop product specifications based on customer needs and requirements.
- Present specifications to customers within 24 hours of their visit.
- Maintain knowledge of current design trends and share relevant information with customers.
- Refer customers seeking professional design work to Kohler Design Services.
- Resolve customer concerns using Kohler Customer Care resources where applicable.
- Conduct Kohler Co. tours for individual customers and small groups.
- Support tour guides and answer customer questions after tours.
- Receive and merchandise products for Kohler Warehouse Sale events.
- Provide customer service during Kohler Warehouse Sales as assigned by the Kohler Design Center Manager.
