About The Position

ETC is hiring interns for the summer of 2027 for an on-site position in its Austin, Texas office. The intern will support product development and maintenance releases by performing product validation testing under supervision. The role includes executing test scenarios, reporting and tracking product defects, and providing technical support to internal customers. The intern will complete project tasks with guidance from senior Product Assurance Specialists, a Team Lead, or Management, while learning department tools, applications, policies, procedures, and plans. The position also includes ISO on-the-job training, estimating task completion times, attending identified training classes, and other assigned duties. Requirements

1–2 years of post-high-school education in an area of specialization.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Computer and service knowledge.
Experience working in a team environment.
Experience with problem-tracking tools.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support product development and maintenance release processes through supervised product validation testing.
Execute test scenarios under supervision to uncover product design defects.
Report product defects in the defect tracking database and follow them through resolution.
Provide technical support to internal customers.
Perform assigned project tasks under the supervision of senior-level Product Assurance Specialists, a Team Lead, or Management.
Participate in ISO on-the-job training.
Provide estimates for task completion times.
Become familiar with tools and applications used by the department.
Learn department and corporate policies, procedures, and plans.
Schedule and attend identified training classes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
