About The Position

Oetiker is seeking a Product and Process Engineer to support the evaluation, validation, and documentation of new and existing processes. The role also supports the CNC department through programming, machine setup, and troubleshooting. The position includes responsibility for released machines, tools, and processes, as well as developing process documentation and leading cross-functional process-planning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in a CNC setting.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Experience with automated machinery.
• Analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience with SolidWorks and/or equivalent 3D modeling software.
• Experience with PFMEA, PFD, and Control Plans.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ESPRIT CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC equipment using CAD/CAM software, preferably ESPRIT.
• Take responsibility for released machines, tools, and processes.
• Create process documentation, including work instructions, box counts, and operator training documents.
• Lead cross-functional teams in developing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and potential changes to production methods.
• Drive continuous improvement of existing processes to reduce waste.
• Support the CNC department with programming, setup, and troubleshooting.
