Product Analyst - Card Transactions

About The Position

As a Senior Product Associate on the Card Transactions team, you will drive end-to-end execution of the product vision and prioritized roadmap while architecting business solutions and analyzing requirements aligned with strategic objectives. You will partner with product, technology, and business stakeholders to deliver roadmap items on time and integrate business architecture principles. The role includes business analysis and architecture, stakeholder coordination, roadmap and release management, risk and controls, and support for continuous improvement across an agile team.

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience as a Business Architect, Business Analyst, or in a similar role, or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
Strong understanding of business processes, systems, and technology, with experience in banking and payments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including detailed business analysis and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm.
Experience with business modeling tools, methodologies, and business analysis techniques.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
Expert knowledge of business processes across an entire line of business, with expertise in other lines of business and technology disciplines.
Strong understanding of firmwide risk and controls, and global and line-of-business project and program management standards and methods.
Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution, and strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods.
Openness to change and ability to learn new processes and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with strong initiative.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Product Manager to identify product opportunities through user research and discovery.
Architect business solutions that align with strategic objectives and integrate product development with business goals and processes.
Conduct business analysis and document requirements, processes, and solutions.
Build relationships with Product, Technology, Data, and Business partners; set clear expectations and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Work closely with engineering leads and technical directors.
Maintain knowledge of the product area's vision, strategy, roadmap, and technical and operational aspects.
Develop and maintain business architecture and capabilities models that reflect product strategies and goals.
Work with IT teams to ensure technology solutions align with business needs and capabilities.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, drive consensus, and analyze business needs.
Monitor industry trends and best practices.
Maintain documentation related to business architecture, processes, and business analysis findings.
Partner with PO’s/APO’s, Agility Leads, and Designers on risk and controls, confirming impacts and scope across teams.
Monitor Jira hygiene, enforce Jira standards, and track IT and non-IT work.
Manage the product roadmap in alignment with the product budget and team availability.
Manage releases and communications, and proactively identify and manage issues.
Support the Agility Lead in continuous improvement to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage dependencies within and outside the product area.
