About The Position
Aon is hiring a Producer for its Commercial Risk team in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. The role focuses on generating new business through networking and relationship-building, collaborating on strategic plans, and presenting risk solutions that meet client needs. The Producer provides consultative advice across Aon’s solutions, uses research-team data and analytics to address complex business issues, and supports a team managing a portfolio of prospects’ business. The position is eligible for base salary and production incentives under an applicable annual incentive plan.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in insurance, consulting, or enterprise products and/or services.
- Demonstrated capability to follow and champion a successful sales process.
- Currently hold or be willing to acquire a Property and Casualty (P&C) license.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Use connections and networking capabilities to generate new business.
- Influence and collaborate with others to build strategic plans and present a range of risk solutions that meet client needs.
- Engage prospects and provide creative, applicable advice across Aon’s solutions.
- Use data and analytics from Aon’s research teams, business judgment, and awareness of current trends to solve complex business issues.
- Support a team in managing a portfolio of prospects’ business.
