About The Position

The Producer Services Readiness Lead is the senior Producer Services subject matter expert responsible for translating approved requirements into practical workflows, standard operating procedures, training, service processes, controls, and launch plans. The role coordinates readiness for new and changing business-process requirements, assesses whether staff and operational resources are prepared before producer-facing requirements go live, and escalates unresolved risks or decisions involving policy, risk, resources, or cross-functional ownership to the appropriate leader. It provides targeted onboarding and Support readiness during launches and peak periods, without taking standing ownership of routine onboarding, Support production, regulatory interpretation, or technical delivery. The Lead assesses operational feasibility, develops and maintains process documentation, coordinates implementation and training, and monitors adoption and stabilization after launch. The role partners with the Producer Solutions Product Owner and cross-functional teams to align business-process readiness with product and systems changes, while respecting designated ownership of product decisions, regulatory interpretation, billing, and enforcement. It also recommends continuous improvements to workflows, controls, training, and readiness standards, and maintains traceable, audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in business operations, process implementation, operational readiness, service delivery, business analysis, change implementation, project delivery, or a related environment.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing new or changing business processes across multiple teams.
  • Experience developing SOPs, workflows, training materials, controls, readiness plans, and launch procedures.
  • Experience serving as a business-process subject matter expert and coordinating work across operational and technical teams.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, requirements development, UAT, business acceptance, or post-launch stabilization.
  • Experience facilitating operational training and supporting adoption of new processes.
  • Strong business-process design, implementation, and operationalization skills.
  • Strong facilitation and training skills with technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills across multiple concurrent launches and deadlines.
  • Ability to translate approved requirements into clear workflows, roles, controls, and operating instructions.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to identify missing decisions, unclear ownership, dependencies, and implementation risks.
  • Sound operational judgment and confidence recommending readiness actions and tradeoffs.
  • Comfort providing hands-on support during launches while maintaining appropriate long-term ownership boundaries.
  • High attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to reliable implementation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
  • Experience in regulated industries, sustainability, producer responsibility, membership organizations, compliance operations, or another deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM, case-management, portal, workflow, Jira, reporting, or related operational systems.
  • Process-improvement, business-analysis, project-management, training, or change-management certification.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Producer Services subject matter expert for implementing new and changing business-process requirements.
  • Translate approved policy, program, regulatory, financial, and operational decisions into clear workflows and operating requirements.
  • Develop and recommend operating approaches with team leaders, and map current- and future-state processes, including roles, handoffs, decision rights, controls, exceptions, and escalation paths.
  • Identify missing decisions, process gaps, conflicting requirements, and dependencies that could prevent successful implementation.
  • Assess operational feasibility and impacts, coordinate implementation of approved processes, and transition requirements into day-to-day operations.
  • Draft and maintain SOPs, process maps, job aids, checklists, decision trees, intake procedures, queue-routing rules, and escalation protocols.
  • Assess readiness gaps involving workflows, documentation, controls, staffing, data, knowledge, and escalation paths; escalate unresolved risks to the appropriate leader.
  • Monitor post-launch adoption, identify operational gaps, coordinate approved updates, training, or corrective actions, and transition stabilized processes to their steady-state owners.
  • Develop and coordinate operational training; prepare facilitator materials, job aids, guidance, scenarios, and readiness resources; and facilitate or support training sessions.
  • Coordinate launch plans, readiness checkpoints, communications inputs, staffing considerations, contingency procedures, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Maintain documentation showing completion of required readiness, training, and launch activities.
  • Partner with the Producer Solutions Product Owner by providing process requirements, workflows, business rules, exceptions, and operational input for systems development.
  • Review proposed system changes for alignment with approved processes; provide subject matter expertise for requirements development, testing preparation, and implementation planning.
  • Participate in UAT and business acceptance as the operational-process subject matter expert, validating documentation and testing of end-to-end workflows and exceptions.
  • Prepare teams, workflows, knowledge, and training for system releases; identify gaps between approved processes and proposed technical solutions and raise operational impacts.
  • Coordinate with Compliance, Finance, Producer Support, and other functions on relevant processes while maintaining their designated ownership of regulatory interpretation, billing, and related decisions.
  • Monitor operating results and recommend process, control, training, and readiness improvements; identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual work, strengthen controls, and improve producer clarity.
  • Maintain traceable documentation of approved decisions, process requirements, controls, ownership, and implementation status; support audit-ready operations by documenting procedures, evidence, and approval points.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to Producer Services leadership based on service, risk, producer, and implementation impacts.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
