About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals seeking limitless possibilities. With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world’s leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC). As our Producer on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you’ll be responsible for high quality growth of the Employee Benefits practice. This includes networking, retaining and growing revenue while leveraging the resources of Marsh McLennan Agency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Seasoned EH&B Insurance Sales or Industry Professional with minimum 5 years of experience
  • Licensed in Health & Benefits and Life Insurance
  • Strong collaborative and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel; willing to attend training session if needed for other applications
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and telephone skills required for successful daily interactions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, whether in person, over the telephone or via email and written communications
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service, proven history in a sales type of role
  • Self-starter, with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail
  • Ability to conceptualize and communicate employee group benefit products
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in/interest in knowledge of benefits industry (competitors, region, and end users) will be highly regarded
