About The Position

Hourly position working in the Produce Value-Added Section and responsible for its day-to-day operation. The role includes working with full-time and/or part-time helpers in the section. Secondary duties may include related activities as required or assigned. Availability is 20–30 hours per week, with possible evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Produce experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Able to work well with minimal supervision.
• Mature, reliable, and dependable.
• Meet the physical demands of repetitive lifting up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Order produce and related selections.
• Stock products.
• Prepare value-added selections.
• Merchandise products.
• Rotate products.
• Organize the cooler.
• Maintain records.
• Manage inventory and backstock control.
• Perform housekeeping.
• Provide customer relations on the sales floor.
• Work with full-time and/or part-time helpers in the section.
• Perform related activities as required or assigned.
