About The Position
Produce clerks order, stock, trim, water, rotate, and display produce. They maintain clean cases and ensure products are fresh and available. They also assist with unloading trucks and perform other tasks assigned by management. Produce clerks answer customers’ questions about produce and increase sales by recommending additional items. They must adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene.
