About The Position

At Wegmans, the Produce department helps customers live healthier, better lives by offering a variety of fruits and vegetables from around the world. As part of the Produce team, you will work with others to educate customers and ensure fresh fruits and vegetables are available throughout the day. This role is suited to someone passionate about fresh food and working in a fast-paced environment. The position is full time at 345 Eastern Blvd., Canandaigua, NY 14424, with availability required in the morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The pay range is $16.50–$17 per hour.

Responsibilities

Provide incredible service to customers and help them locate what they need.
Keep shelves and displays stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Trim, package, and rotate product as necessary to maintain appearance and quality.
May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with new and existing products and inventory.
Work with the Produce team to educate customers and ensure fresh fruits and vegetables are available throughout the day.
