About The Position

The Produce position is part-time and union at Cub Foods Silver Lake, reports to the Produce Manager, and pays on a progressive scale up to $18.00 per hour based on experience. Hours are varied across Sunday through Saturday. The role involves connecting with customers, filling and rotating produce cases and displays, assisting with receiving and merchandising products, maintaining a clean and sanitary store, and supporting the team with department tasks. Requirements

Be willing to work varied hours Sunday through Saturday.
Be willing to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying, pushing and pulling, walking, reaching, standing, stooping or bending, squatting, kneeling, and repetitive motions.
Be able to work in conditions involving extended exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces.
Demonstrate judgment and decision-making, social skills and verbal interaction, memorization, reading and writing, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Make lasting connections with customers.
Fill and rotate cases and displays.
Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep shelves full.
Help maintain a clean and sanitary store.
Work with the team on tasks needed to operate the department.
Arrive promptly for shifts and work as scheduled.
Operate the listed equipment as needed, including a forklift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, compactor, baler, scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, and paging system.
