About The Position

The Produce position is part-time and based at Cub Foods Knollwood. The employee reports to the Produce Manager and is paid on a progressive scale up to $18.00 per hour, based on experience. Hours are varied from Sunday through Saturday. The role involves serving customers, filling and rotating produce cases and displays, assisting with receiving and merchandising products, and helping maintain a clean and sanitary store. Employees work with the team on tasks needed to support the department and are expected to arrive promptly and work their scheduled shifts. Some lifting is required. Physical demands and position functions may vary by store location. The job frequently involves lifting and carrying, pushing and pulling, walking, reaching, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, and repetitive movements. It also involves operating equipment and tools, interacting verbally with others, using judgment, memorizing, reading, writing, and basic computer skills. Employees may be exposed to cold temperatures and wet surfaces. Climbing ladders and performing calculations are occasional duties.
