About The Position
The Produce Clerk is an hourly employee responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Value-Added Section. The role works with full-time and/or part-time helpers in the section and performs related activities as required or assigned. The schedule is 20–30 hours per week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
Requirements
- Able to work 20–30 hours per week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
- Able to work productively with minimal supervision.
- Mature, reliable, and dependable.
- Able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Produce experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Order, stock, and prepare value-added selections.
- Merchandise products and rotate stock.
- Organize the cooler and maintain records.
- Manage inventory and backstock control.
- Perform housekeeping in the section.
- Provide customer relations on the sales floor.
- Perform related activities as required or assigned.
