About The Position

Procurement Specialist The Opportunity : The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. That’s why we need you, a finan cia l analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies , and regulations that govern funding, to make sure Air Force’s resources can make the most impact. As a Procurement Spe cia list, you’ll bring your consult ing, analytical, and management expertise to work on projects for Department of War ( DoW ) cybersecurity clients. You’ll analyze budget data and cultivate stakeholder relationships to aid our clients in managing resources in the budget s of varied DoW components. You’ll be a t rus ted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies , processes, and functions. Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies , you’ll help our client make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with the project managers and team leads. Requirements

  • Experience with DoW procurement and supply chain management
  • Experience with DoW acquisition systems, processes, and regulatory standards such as FAR and DFAR
  • Experience serving as a liaison with technical and program managers
  • Ability to build, route, and execute finan cia l documents in systems such as Defense Enterprise and Management System ( DEAMS )
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with supplier relationship management
  • Knowledge of programming, budget ing, funding, and redistributing for the appropriated budget s and assigned portions of the budget , including planning, programming, budget ing, and reporting for reimbursable funding
  • Knowledge of preparing both recurring and nonrecurring regulatory and non-regulatory resource management and cost reports for both higher headquarters and servicing directorate and garrisons
