About The Position

Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking a Procurement Data Entry Specialist to maintain clean, up-to-date supplier profiles, onboard new vendors, and manage the vendor onboarding process. The selected candidate will serve as a technical expert in onboarding and maintaining vendor profiles, develop and maintain accurate and complete files, and use discretion when handling sensitive supplier information. The role also supports small business goals and includes travel to a few small business conferences each year to promote SRNL.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is legally required.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) and 0–3 years of experience; a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work with a variety of internal and external constituents.
• Keen attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Directly related work experience with government procurement, DOE, DOD, or a prime contractor.
• Experience working with FAR-based procurement.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience with data-entry-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new vendors and manage the vendor onboarding process.
• Maintain accurate, current supplier profiles and serve as a technical expert for onboarding and profile maintenance.
• Develop and maintain accurate and complete files with close attention to detail.
• Handle sensitive supplier information with considerable discretion.
• Verify facts and find missing details through reliable sources before entering data.
• Support small business goals.
• Travel to a few small business conferences each year to promote SRNL.
