About The Position

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is hiring a part-time Retail Associate – Processor for its Valdosta retail store on St. Augustine. The role processes donations to maintain quality standards and meet production requirements, using attention to detail and decisive measurements. The processor is expected to demonstrate customer commitment and personal effectiveness and will be cross-trained to learn and work in all areas of the retail operation. The position averages 20–25 hours per week, with hours that fluctuate based on business needs, seasonal changes, and donation volumes. The work schedule can include any shift Monday through Sunday, though the role typically works between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST. Operating days vary by store location.

Requirements

Average math skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Availability to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a retail or customer service-related environment.
Warehouse experience.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Responsibilities

Process and sort donated goods rapidly and accurately.
Stock store shelves neatly and orderly.
Rotate merchandise using a color-coded system.
Identify quality donations.
Ensure donations are promptly priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor.
Meet production goals and outcomes based on the quality and quantity of donations.
Work in other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.
Learn and work in all areas of the retail operation through cross-training.
