Processing Associate
About The Position
The Processing Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and helping maintain a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also includes processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor, supporting checkout and customer loyalty programs, maintaining store recovery and cleanliness, and contributing to safety and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns, and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
