This position provides administrative/clerical support to a number of professional and specialty staff within the North Carolina Division of Services for the Blind (DSB). The DSB provides services to people who are visually impaired, blind, and deaf-blind to help them reach their goals of independence and employment. This role involves data input/retrieval, creating authorizations, processing claims, ordering equipment, setting up case files, and corresponding with consumers, vendors, and other staff. Additionally, the position offers general office support, including answering phones, managing mail, greeting visitors, and providing basic technical support for office equipment and software.
