About The Position

ProVest LLC is seeking a Process Server to provide reliable and professional civil process service in Garrett, MD and surrounding areas. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, with weekly compensation based on completed jobs. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented professionals with experience and judged signed court appointments in legal document delivery. Ideal candidates include experienced Process Servers, Licensed Private Investigators, Current or Former Law Enforcement Professionals, and Paralegals.

Requirements

Reside in or currently serve within a 45-mile radius of Garret, MD.
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license
Active auto insurance
Smartphone with ability to run mobile applications
Strong communication and documentation skills
Commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Process Server
Licensed Private Investigator
Current or Former Law Enforcement Professional
Paralegal experience
Judged signed court appointments in legal document delivery

Responsibilities

Make diligent service attempts (up to 3 attempts at varied times: morning, evening, weekend, etc.)
Activate cases within 24 hours of receiving documents (via FedEx or email)
Sign and notarize all eligible affidavits within 48 hours of service completion
Utilize ProVest's mobile applications to upload photo evidence of addresses, submit detailed attempt notes, and record service or non-service outcomes.
