About The Position

ABC Legal Services is seeking organized, independent, and personable people to deliver legal documents in their local areas. Process Servers work independently, plan routes, and make service attempts at times when people are likely to be home. The role offers a flexible schedule and the ability to choose how much work to take on, outside a traditional office setting. ABC Legal provides training, tools, and a mobile app for claiming jobs, mapping stops, and tracking pay. Process Servers contract with ABC Legal Services and are paid for each job attempted and resolved.

Requirements

• Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance.
• Be comfortable using an iPhone, iPad, or Android smart device and working within a mobile app.
• Be able to scan and print documents.
• Be able to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Be legally allowed to work in the United States without work authorization.
• Meet any state-specific registration requirements for process servers and minimum age requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in process serving or related work is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver legal documents in the assigned service area.
• Plan routes and make service attempts at times when people are likely to be home.
• Use the mobile app to claim jobs, map stops, and track pay.
• Make required attempts every 48 hours, at varied times.
