Process Server - Monroe County

About The Position

ProVest is seeking Indiana-based independent contractors to serve legal documents in assigned areas, preferably near Monroe County. Process servers manage their assignments and schedules independently, make the required service attempts on different days, and document each attempt using ProVest’s mobile applications, including GPS-stamped photographs. Completed documents and reports must be returned accurately and on time. A dedicated ProVest liaison is available, and training and support on the mobile applications and reporting requirements are provided.

Requirements

Reside in Indiana; residence near Monroe County is preferred.
Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Have access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email.
Have flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Be comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting.
Have strong time-management and organizational skills.
Be comfortable working independently.
Communicate clearly and professionally.
Value accuracy, honesty, and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a private investigator.
Experience as a process server.
A law enforcement or security background.

Responsibilities

Serve legal documents within assigned areas.
Manage assignments using ProVest’s mobile apps (PVLS and PSO Mobile).
Complete three to five service attempts per assignment, with attempts on different days.
Document all service attempts through the mobile app, including GPS-stamped photographs.
Complete required service attempts in accordance with client guidelines.
Return completed documents and reports accurately and on time.
Plan routes and manage your own schedule.
Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times.
