About The Position
kdc/one is hiring a hands-on Process Optimization Engineer to improve manufacturing processes at its Groveport, Ohio facility. The role works alongside production teams to solve manufacturing challenges and implement lasting improvements. The position is 100% onsite on first shift, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, or similar methodologies.
- Comfort spending time on the production floor.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with different teams.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in cosmetics, personal care, chemicals, food, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
- Troubleshoot production challenges and identify root causes of recurring issues.
- Reduce downtime, waste, and process variation.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving tools.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to improve processes.
- Use production data to identify opportunities and measure results.
- Help implement new processes, equipment improvements, and best practices.
