About The Position

The Process & Manufacturing Engineering Intern works under the guidance of an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor in the Tooling Department, gaining hands-on experience supporting tooling operations, maintenance, and manufacturing engineering processes in an aerospace manufacturing environment. The intern develops practical skills with hand tools and equipment, including vertical mills, lathes, welders, and buffers, while learning fundamental machining, fabrication, and tooling techniques. The role assists with preventive and corrective maintenance to support tooling reliability, production efficiency, and operational readiness. The intern collaborates with manufacturing engineers and tooling technicians, contributes to departmental projects and production support, and develops foundational knowledge of aerospace manufacturing, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. The intern must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check and be able to complete the entire internship. Work beyond 40 hours per week may be required.
