About The Position

EJ is hiring a Summer 2027 Process Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience at a modern iron foundry that began operations in November 2018. The role offers opportunities to engage in real-world problem-solving and contribute to operational excellence. The intern will learn about molding, core making, and iron pouring processes, and explore how process changes can affect safety and production outcomes.

The intern is expected to promote EJ’s culture, mission, vision, and core values, including its safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures. EJ is a family-owned company with global operations and is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

• Be a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field at a four-year college or university.
• Be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Learn about molding, core making, and iron pouring processes.
• Focus on process changes that affect safety and production outcomes.
