About The Position
Garver's Water Design Center (WDC) in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a passionate Process Intern to join their team of water treatment facility planning and design experts. This internship offers hands-on experience in design within a dynamic and professional environment. The intern will contribute to projects focused on water and wastewater treatment facilities, making a tangible difference in communities by addressing water needs with innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Candidates must be pursuing an environmental engineering, biological engineering, civil engineering, or chemical engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with WDC projects including water and wastewater treatment plant assessment and design.
- Assist with improvements and retrofitting of existing treatment facilities.
- Assist with the design of water and wastewater treatment processes.
- Assist in the development of detailed designs for various water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Data review and analysis.
- Mass balance, hydraulic modeling, and process modeling.
- Water and wastewater treatment equipment design such as large-scale blowers, pumps, filters, membranes, UV disinfection, etc.
