About The Position

The Process Engineering Intern gains hands-on experience supporting the design and development of advanced process systems for high-tech facilities. The role offers practical exposure to process modeling, design documentation, and collaboration across disciplines in a dynamic engineering environment. The intern contributes to project work and learns about real-world applications of chemical engineering principles and emerging process technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Junior or senior standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and engineering software.
• Prior internship experience in a project team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing designs that align with industry best practices and client-specific standards.
• Help create process flow diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams, and pipe and equipment layouts for advanced process systems.
• Support fluid flow and pressure modeling using software such as Pipe Flow.
• Analyze process systems for optimal performance and compliance with design specifications.
• Coordinate the design, implementation, and construction of process systems with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Participate in cross-disciplinary interactions to support seamless design integration.
• Contribute to ongoing projects and learn about process technologies and methodologies.
