Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning Attorney
About The Position
Established West Los Angeles law firm seeking attorney with at least 3-4 years of experience in probate/trust/inheritance litigation. Experience in business litigation is also desired but not a requirement. Great team environment with benefits and substantial upside. We will keep all inquiries and resumes confidential. We are seeking a skilled Attorney with at least 3-4 years' experience to join our legal team. Experience and/or a book of business in trust/estate, probate, real estate and/or corporate transactions is highly desired though not required. You will also have the opportunity to grow and develop a broader practice.
Requirements
- At least 3-4 years of experience in probate/trust/inheritance litigation
- Solid academic record with law school degree
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Westlaw
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Familiarity with State and Federal Rules
Nice To Haves
- Experience in business litigation
- Experience and/or a book of business in trust/estate, probate, real estate and/or corporate transactions
Responsibilities
- Take direction and assist in all phases of discovery and trial preparation (conduct/defend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, attend hearings, etc.)
- Effectively manage concurrent assignments and multiple deadlines
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop case strategy
- Analyze case law and public law
