About The Position
The Department of Physics at the University of Oregon seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for temporary instructional positions. Pro Tem Instructors may teach lower-division foundational physics courses as well as select upper-division courses, based on departmental needs and their qualifications. These are limited duration appointments, potentially renewable up to a total of three years, based on programmatic need, funding, and performance. Screening of applications will take place as positions become available and continue until positions are filled.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physics or related field.
- Experience teaching in Physics or related field.
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to contribute to institutional diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Nice To Haves
- Ph.D in physics or related field.
Responsibilities
