About The Position

The Department of Management at the Lundquist College of Business is seeking talented faculty to fill pro tempore positions. These are limited-duration appointments, potentially renewable for up to three years, for teaching Management and general Business courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Pro tempore faculty work under the supervision of the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Research and/or the requisite department head. Courses are scheduled to be conducted on campus and in the classroom. Candidates should be strongly committed to quality undergraduate and graduate instruction, service to students, and contributing positively to our diverse community, and to working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

Master's degree. In exceptional circumstances, a BA/BS degree and evidence of substantial professional experience may substitute for an advanced degree.
Ability to deliver inclusive, engaged, and research-led teaching at the college level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that will enhance community relations and support undergraduate/graduate.
Demonstrated ability or potential for quality teaching.

Nice To Haves

PhD or other doctorate and demonstrated teaching experience.
Terminal degree in relevant field (for Lecturer role, teaching primarily graduate-level courses).
Substantial basis of experience equal to a tenured professor (normally a minimum of 12 years), national/international reputation for excellence reflected in a record of significant accomplishments, profile of accumulated professional accomplishments, and rich and extensive background in the field (for Professor of Practice role).
