About The Position
Mercyhealth has an exciting PRN Neonatal Nurse Practitioner opportunity to join our excellent Labor & Delivery team in Rockford, Illinois. This role involves providing in-house Pediatrics & Newborn Nursery rounds. Mercyhealth is a regional health system with 7 hospitals and over 100 primary and specialty care centers in more than 90 communities throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. We have over 950+ partnered providers and 8,250+ professionals dedicated to compassionate, quality care, offering over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited NP program
- Hold an active state APRN license
- At least 2 years of experience as a bedside registered nurse in a level III NICU
- Prepared to practice across the continuum, providing primary, acute, chronic, and critical care to neonates, infants, and toddlers through age 2.
- The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team
