About The Position

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a nationally recognized neonatology team at Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando, Florida. This role involves caring for approximately 1,900 babies annually in a large, state-of-the-art NICU with Level II, III, and IV units. The position offers exposure to complex cases, including EXIT procedures and a dedicated Women’s ICU, and involves collaboration with a team of 25 neonatologists and 7 NNPs. The role also provides opportunities for professional growth through advanced training in POCUS and Neonatal Hemodynamics, as well as academic involvement at a Neonatal Fellowship site. The schedule includes flexible 12-hour day and night shifts to promote work-life balance.

Requirements

Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
Minimum of a master’s degree

Responsibilities

Care for 1,900 babies annually in a state-of-the-art, 142-bed NICU with Level II, III, and IV units.
Work alongside 25 neonatologists and 7 NNPs.
Provide care in a practice recognized for leadership and excellence.
Gain exposure to complex cases through Winnie Palmer’s Fetal Care Center, including EXIT procedures and a dedicated Women’s ICU.
Collaborate with RN/RT teams assisting with delivery room coverage, transports, and PICC line management.
Access advanced training in POCUS and Neonatal Hemodynamics.
Participate in academic opportunities at this Neonatal Fellowship site.
