About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a PRN Dietitian in New Orleans, LA! This position is located at Ochsner Medical Center in Acute Care, LTAC, and SNF settings. The schedule is PRN (hourly) with an anticipated need of 1-3 days per week. The role requires a Registered Dietitian (RD) and coverage will include the Ochsner Medical Center main campus and Jefferson Plaza locations. Requirements

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
