About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is hiring PRN caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Personal Care Providers to cover open shifts and one-time needs. The company contacts caregivers by call or text when a shift becomes available, and caregivers indicate whether they are available. Work is available in Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Lakeway, and West Lake Hills. Pay is $20.00 per hour for every shift. Shift offers may be for days, evenings, weekends, or holidays. Caregivers receive in-person support and check-ins from a care coordinator, free training through Caregiver University, referral bonuses, monthly recognition, and birthday recognition. Requirements

Three or more years of caregiving experience in home care or a skilled facility.
Comfortable entering a new home and getting up to speed quickly.
Responsive to shift requests by call or text.
Reliable transportation to and from shifts.
Ability to pass a background check.
Compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working independently.

Nice To Haves

CNA, HHA, or PCP certification preferred.
Valid driver's license is a plus.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and help keep clients safe at home.
Assist with personal care and daily living activities in accordance with the care plan.
Help with laundry, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
Drive clients to appointments, errands, and shopping when needed.
Report changes in a client's condition to the care team.
Complete 12 hours of annual training through Caregiver University.
