About The Position

The Caregiver delivers compassionate, high-quality care to residents in accordance with their individualized service plans. The role includes assistance with personal care, medication support when delegated, household tasks, and activity engagement. The Caregiver helps foster a safe, respectful, homelike environment that promotes resident independence, dignity, and quality of life. The position is located at Sussex Springs in Sussex, Wisconsin, and pays $17.00–$20.00 per hour. It is designated PRN.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a Wisconsin caregiver background check.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, direct care, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare experience.
CNA certification and/or CBRF training.
Medication administration experience.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Support residents with meals, hydration, and dining assistance.
Provide companionship and encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, room organization, and upkeep of common living areas.
Monitor residents' well-being and promptly report changes in condition or behavior.
Administer medications and perform delegated health-related services when authorized and trained under RN supervision.
Maintain accurate documentation and resident care records.
Follow infection control, confidentiality, and resident rights policies.
Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.
Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
