Private Piano / Voice Teacher (In-Person Music Studio)
About The Position
Musicologie Prosper is seeking dedicated piano and voice teachers for its new and rapidly growing studio, which opened in September 2025. The ideal candidate is an expert musician who is passionate about introducing music to students of all ages. We foster a friendly, warm, and communicative environment, dedicated to helping students overcome challenges. Requirements
- An excellent musician.
- Excited to help students of all ages and abilities become passionate, proficient musicians.
- An expert communicator in person and by email.
- Extremely organized.
- Self-motivated.
- Curious and inspired to learn new things.
- Able to work evening and/or weekend hours.
- A bachelor’s degree in your instrument, or equivalent experience.
- Teaching experience on your instrument.
- Experience working with kids and families.
Nice To Haves
- Early childhood experience (under 5 yrs old) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work with students of all ages and abilities to identify their goals and progress through curriculum related to those goals.
- Serve as a friendly guide on students' musical journeys.
- Encourage community involvement through performances and group classes.
- Dedicate yourself to learning Musicologie's philosophy of education, curriculum, and processes.
- Commit to delivering an outstanding lesson experience to every family and student.
- Collaborate with other Musicologie teachers and managers to enhance collective capabilities.
