About The Position

A private family in the Whitwell / Chattanooga, Tennessee area is seeking a warm, Spanish-fluent educator to lead the children’s home-learning routine, provide care through the afternoon and evening, and support kid-inclusive household tasks. The position is full-time, five days per week, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family expects to relocate to Nashville around spring 2028 and is seeking someone willing to relocate with them and commit to at least five years. The family homeschools. The educator will work within a framework and household systems designed by the parents, with support from AI tools; the mother also teaches some. The role includes about 90 minutes of structured, screen-free learning each day, with the remainder of the day focused on learning-rich care, activities, and household work alongside the children. The educator will maintain daily Spanish immersion, record progress in ClickUp, and take on a larger share of teaching as more children reach school age. The role includes care through afternoon, dinner, and bedtime routines, in close partnership with the family’s nanny, who watches the babies. Household duties include preparing simple, whole-food meals for the children, kid-inclusive household tasks, maintaining and ordering household and children’s supplies, organizing, light household operations, and travel packing and unpacking. Occasional family travel is expected, about one to two trips per year. Deep cleaning, adult dinners, lawn care, bills, and vendor accounts are handled by others and are not part of the role. The position is currently live-out. A future live-in option in a private in-law suite is planned for a larger home. The family describes its home as faith-centered, healthy, and family-first.
