Bolt Farm Treehouse•Whitwell, TN
•$70,000 - $95,000•Onsite

About The Position

A private family in the Whitwell/Chattanooga, Tennessee area is seeking a Spanish-fluent educator to manage the children’s home-learning rhythm, care for the children through the afternoon and evening, and support household operations. The role is full-time, five days per week, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a base salary of $70,000–$95,000, depending on experience and teaching aptitude. The family currently homeschools its three-year-old daughter and has a newborn son. The educator will be a consistent presence in the children’s learning, Spanish immersion, and daily routines. The family plans to relocate to Nashville around spring 2028 and hopes the educator will relocate with them and commit to at least five years. The parents develop the educational framework and household systems, with support from AI tools, and the educator implements them day to day, making sound decisions within that framework. The role includes about 90 minutes of structured, screen-free learning daily, with the remainder of the day focused on learning-rich care, activities, and household tasks alongside the children. As more children reach school age, the teaching portion of the role is expected to grow while the hours remain the same. The position includes full care of the children through afternoon, dinner, and bedtime routines, and close coordination with the family’s nanny, who watches the babies. Household responsibilities include child-inclusive cooking, laundry, errands, gardening, trip packing, maintaining and ordering household inventory, organizing, and light household operations. Focused administrative tasks are handled when the nanny has the children or after bedtime. Travel support includes packing and unpacking and occasional family trips, approximately one to two per year. Deep cleaning, adult dinners, lawn care, bills, and vendor accounts are handled by others and are not part of this role. The role is currently live-out. A live-in option in a private in-law suite is planned for a future, larger home. The family describes its home as faith-centered, healthy, and family-first.
